Death by Drunken Drivers

Deaths and Serious Injuries caused by drink driving have risen for the first time in nearly 10 years. There were 280 deaths last year compared to 250 in 2010. Serious injuries rose from 1,250 to 1,290 and this was the first increase since 2002. The number of deaths in 2010 due to drink driving was at its lowest level for 30 years.
